Urban Brand Creative Wins National Website of the Year and Most Trusted Website of the Year
Urban Brand Creative has been awarded National Website of the Year and Most Trusted Website of the Year at the 2026 Digital Business Ireland National Digital Awards for its work with The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital.
These are not small category wins.
National Website of the Year is the top digital award in the country.
This matters because of what the project actually was: a full strategic rebuild for a high-trust national institution, serving one of Ireland’s busiest indigenous websites, with more than 4.5 million visits annually and over 200 structured pages delivered from the ground up.
A national-scale project, not a typical brief
This project was delivered for one of Ireland’s busiest indigenous websites, serving a high-trust national institution with more than 4.5 million users annually.
The brief was clear:
reposition The Coombe from being perceived primarily as a maternity hospital to a full-service women’s health institution, and make the website central to that shift.
This was not a redesign.
It was a full rebuild of enterprise-level digital infrastructure—designed to handle scale, complexity, and clarity in a high-stakes public environment.
A national-scale project, not a typical brief
This was not a cosmetic redesign.
The brief was to reposition The Coombe from being perceived primarily as a maternity hospital to a full-service women’s health institution, with the website acting as core digital infrastructure for that shift.
That meant building a clearer, more trusted, more usable digital front door for a national institution operating at scale.
The result was a complete rebuild designed to handle complexity, improve clarity, and better support patients, families, staff, consultants, and the wider hospital ecosystem. It was a serious institutional project delivered in a high-stakes public environment where trust, accessibility, and structure were not optional extras.
What the awards actually recognise
Winning both Most Trusted Website and National Website of the Year reflects more than design quality.
It reflects:
trust in a high-stakes healthcare environment
clarity and performance at national scale
strategic execution under real institutional pressure
As one judge noted:
“When a public hospital outperforms established commercial platforms, it signals a fundamental shift in how digital maturity is judged.”
That is the real significance of the win.
Recognition from three credible directions
One of the strongest aspects of this project is that the recognition did not come from one place alone.
1. Client recognition — The Coombe Hospital
The Coombe publicly acknowledged the work and its impact, thanking Urban Brand Creative for the “vision, creativity and hard work” that went into bringing the website to life and saying it was proud to see both the work and the website recognised at a national level.
The team also described the recognition as “well deserved” and said it was great to see the website acknowledged nationally.
That kind of client-side recognition carries weight beyond any self-issued claim.
2. Industry recognition — Digital Business Ireland
Digital Business Ireland and its judging panel awarded the project both Most Trusted Website of the Year and the overall National Website of the Year.
That is not just a niche sector award. It is independent recognition that the work stood above other entries nationally, including established commercial platforms.
3. Platform recognition — Squarespace
The project was built on Squarespace 7.1, a platform often underestimated at the upper end of the market.
Squarespace publicly recognised the project, stating:
“Congratulations to Squarespace Circle partner Urban Brand Creative and their client The Coombe Hospital on your 2026 National Digital Award win of National Website of the Year! What a big accomplishment!”
That matters too.
When the client, the awarding body, and the platform itself all publicly acknowledge the same piece of work, that creates a much stronger trust signal than any agency announcement on its own.

The awards are one signal. The strongest proof is still the work itself.

If this is your mandate, we should talk
If your organisation is carrying a digital brief where trust, complexity, and scale all sit inside the same mandate, we should talk.
Urban Brand Creative works with organisations that need more than a polished front end. We help build the kind of strategic digital infrastructure serious institutions can rely on.
